Road Connecting Rhea County To Crossville Remains Closed

A road connecting Rhea County to Crossville and Cumberland County remains closed after part of the roadway slid away during a rainy last week.

Tennessee Department of Transportation officials said State Route 68 will remain closed for at least four weeks as crews begin repairs.

The area of work is about three miles North of Highway 27 in Spring City.

Signs directing detour routs are in place.
