The Tennessee Valley Authority has rescheduled a planned power outage in Jackson County.
Originally scheduled to take place this Saturday, the planned outage will now occur Saturday, May 12th.
TVA plans to disconnect power to Upper Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation members served from the Gainesboro Substation that reside in the communities of the Town of Gainesboro, North Springs, Jennings Creek Highway, Gladdice Highway, York Highway, Roaring River Road and Celina Highway.
The outage on May 12th will begin at 11:00 p.m. and last for up to six hours
