Crash Injures Two In Cumberland County Sunday

A Two vehicle crash in Cumberland County injured two people Sunday.

The crash happened around 11:50 on Highway 70 West.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a westbound Ford Fiesta driven by 52-year-old Charlene Hoose of Crossville nearly collided head-on with an eastbound Dodge Ram van driven by 38-year-old William Smith of Crossville.

The THP said Hoose’s had crossed over the center line and crossed back into its lane. The crash occurred when Smith’s vehicle crossed the center line as well.

A report stated that Smith suffered minor injuries. Hoose, transported to Cumberland Medical Center for treatment to unknown injuries.
