24 Putnam County Building Permits Issued In March

Despite a rainy March where construction companies found building tough-going, Putnam County issued more than $3 million in building permits,

It’s the second month this year where building permits topped $3 million dollars. A total of 24 building permits issued in March, 15 of those for new single family construction.

For the fiscal year ending in June, permits for more than $31 million in construction have been issued thus far by Putnam County. That’s up about 24 percent over last year, according to County Executive Randy Porter.
