Several students at Stone Memorial High School participated in the School Walkout Wednesday morning.
“They did everything within the confines of what was right and what was appropriate,” Cumberland County Director Of Schools Janet Graham said.
Graham said students at Cumberland County High School will participate in a forum Monday night along with parents and administrators to address the issue of school safety.
A scattering of other walkouts took place across the region Wednesday. The National School Walkout event marked one month since 17 people died in Parkland, Florida.
