Crossville Man Arrested In Domestic Violence Case

A Crossville man faces multiple charges after a domestic violence incident involving his girlfriend.

Police arrested 22-year old Octavius Lemond Harper after officers found him hiding under his girlfriend’s sink. The victim had an active order of protection in place against Harper.

Harper had shown up at the woman’s workplace, taking her house key and cell phone, according to police reports. He then began chasing her. The woman fell in the parking lot, injuring both hands. Harper, then grabbed the woman by the arm.

The woman called police after work and asked officers to accompany her home, worried that Harper might be in the house without her permission. Police searched and found Harper under the sink hidden in a blanket.

Around him, police found a bag with approximately 1.75 grams of marijuana. Police charged him with simple possession.

In addition, Harper faces charges on two violations of a protective order, domestic assault, aggravated burglary.
