A Moss man lost his life Monday morning in a driving while impaired accident on Celina’s Highway 52.
21-year-old Anthony K. Curtis of Moss ran off the right side of Highway 52 while driving westbound around 3am Monday morning. The Tennessee Highway Patrol reports Curtis’ car hit a tree on the right side before spinning and rolling across the roadway. The car came to rest on its top along the left side of the road.
Curtis was ejected from the car, a 2008 Pontiac, before it came to rest. Troopers pronounced him dead on the scene. Curtis was not wearing a seatbelt.
The trooper’s report said Curtis had been drinking.
