Mr. Harold Rippetoe, age 77 of Cookeville, died Wednesday morning, February 28th at his home. Arrangements for Mr. Rippetoe are incomplete.

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Moffitt, age 74 of Sparta passed away Tuesday morning, February 27, 2018 at the NHC of Sparta. Arrangements are incomplete at this time.

Mr. Roy Riser passed from this life on Tuesday evening, February 27, 2018 at Heritage Pointe in Cookeville, TN. Funeral services for Mr. Roy Riser, age 96, of Livingston are incomplete.

Bradley Sproles, Age 41, Of Monterey, Passed Away On Tuesday, February 20, 2018, At The Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He Was Born On March 19, 1976, In Cookeville To The Late Jerry And Linda Parker Sproles. Mr. Sproles Was A Salesman In The Food Preparation Business. He Is Survived By His Wife, Penny Scatland Sproles Of Gainesboro; Son, Kyle And Christina Sproles Of Monterey; And Granddaughter, Briella Nicole Sproles. In Addition To His Parents, He Was Preceded In Death By His Sister, Sheila Sproles Elrod. His Wishes Of Cremation Are Being Honored With Services Planned At A Later Date.

Funeral services for Mrs. Wendy Lee Wright, age 42, of Livingston, will be conducted 1 p.m., Thursday, March 1, 2018 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Bro. Brett Gibbons will officiate. Burial will be in the Clark Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 from 5 until 9 p.m. & Wednesday, February 28, 2018 from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. Wendy passed from this life on Monday morning, February 26, 2018 from Livingston Regional Hospital. She was born in Putnam County, Tennessee on July 30, 1975 to William, Sr. and Patsy Vaughn Clark. She was a wonderful mother and a loving wife. She loved growing and tending to her flowers. She also enjoyed riding her motorcycle and listening to old Rock-N-Roll music.

Funeral services for Wilburn “Will” Qualls, age 89 of Sparta, will be at 11:00 am on Friday, March 2, 2018 in the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in the Highland Cemetery. Mr. Will passed away on Monday evening February 26, 2018 at his residence. He was born December 17, 1928 in White County, TN to the late Bill and Verna Klein Qualls. Mr. Will was a farmer. He is survived by his wife: Cora Sue Luna Qualls of Sparta; 2 Sons: Kenny Qualls of Cookeville, and Tim Qualls & wife Kathy of Sparta; 8 Grandchildren, 2 Great-Grandchildren, and 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren; 1 Brother: Les West of Sparta; along with Several Nieces and Nephews. The family will receive friends from 5pm until 8pm on Thursday Evening.

Graveside Memorial Services For Linda Kathleen Bohannon, Age 69, Of Cookeville, Will Be Held On Saturday, March 3, 2018, At 1:00 PM At The Bohannon Cemetery In The Calfkiller Community. Ms. Bohannon Passed Away On Wednesday, February 21, 2018, At Mabry Health Care And Rehab Center In Gainesboro. Ms. Bohannon Was Born On April 29, 1948, In New Kensington, Pennsylvania, To The Late Leland Laverne And Betty Jane Groves Blystone. Ms. Bohannon Was A Custodian At Monterey High School For Many Years. She Is Survived By, 1 Daughter, Cynthia Shuffett Of Monterey; 2 Sons, Scott Suttle Of Smithville, Jamie Suttle Of Livingston; 4 Grandchildren, Samantha Burke, Mishea Suttle, James Santilli, And Abbie Bires; 3 Great Grandchildren, Kaitlyn Burke, Alexander Burke, And Ricky Burke; 2 Brothers, Mark Blystone Of Georgia, John Blystone Of Ohio. In Addition To Her Parents, She Was Preceded In Death By Her Husband, Stanton Bohannon. Her Family Will Receive Friends At The Cemetery Immediately Following The Services.

Funeral services for Hilari Autumn Scott, age 42, of Baxter, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 3 at Dyer Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Campbell officiating. Interment will follow at Double Springs Cemetery. Hilari Autumn Scott, 42, of Baxter, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018. She was born on October 19, 1975 to Lawrence Duane Brown and Debra Kay Kelderman Brown in Marshalltown, IA. On September 2, 2006, Hilari was united in marriage to Lewis Osby Scott. She was a graduate of Marshalltown High School class of 1994. She graduated with a bachelor’s in marketing in 2009. Hilari worked for GE Healthcare as a Product Manager on the Centricity product line. Hilari worked in many capacities over the years including support and training. She was well-respected amongst her colleagues and was passionate about the success of her customers. Hilari was a member of the Trinity Assembly Church. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Lewis Scott; Children: Levi Scott, Lance Scott, Helena Scott and Madelyn Scott. Her parents: Lawrence Duane (Cindy K.) Brown of De Soto, Texas and Debra Kay (Robert) Kelderman of The Colony, Texas. Her brother, Lawrence (Lance) Duane Brown II. Hilari is preceded in death by her sister, Michelle Lei Simpson (Brown) in 2011. Great Grandparents, Lillian and Raymond Barker. Grandparents, Marvin Lornie Brown and Evelyn Violet Brown, Robert Franklin Kelderman and Janet Kay Kelderman. The family will receive friends Friday from 5 – 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Funeral services for Barbara Jean Richmond “Lucy” Price, age 72 of Sparta, will be conducted 1:00pm Saturday from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Davis Cemetery. Lucy passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at the St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville. Lucy was born December 20, 1945 in Sparta. She was the former manager of Cato’s and loved to play cards, her favorite game and what she was the best was spades. She is preceded in death by her husband Donald Edward “Donnie” Price; parents, Monroe & Evelyn Richmond Burton and life long friend James “Bar B Que” Shockley. Surviving family members include her son Willis Edward Price; Grandchildren: Heather Strode, James Price, Jordan Price; Brother: Norman Burton; Sisters: Sharon Burton and Melody Burton; Nieces: Brandicah Wright and Kendra Wright; Nephew: William Howard “J.R.” Drake. A host of cousins and extended family also survive. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00am until service time at Hunter Funeral Home.
