Mrs. Anna Hacker, 67 of Cookeville died Wednesday, February 21, 2018 in Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Funeral services for Betty Louise Rittenberry Conley, 82 of Sparta, will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, February 23, 2018 at the West Sparta Church of Christ with burial in the Old Blue Springs Cemetery. She was born February 13, 1936 and passed away peacefully on Monday, February 19, 2018 at NHC of Sparta. She was born to the late Paul and Mattie Williams Rittenberry. She was a retired factory worker from Red Kap Industries. She was a long-time and active member of the West Sparta Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Milburn Conley; two daughters, Jeanetta Conley Eldridge and Peggy Conley Troglen; two granddaughters, Peggy Johnson and Devonna Gribble. She is survived by her Daughter: Judy Null of Sparta; Granddaughters: Donna Johnson, Jessica Young and husband Chris, Elizabeth Johnson, Kerri West and husband Morgan all of Sparta; Adopted Great Grandsons: Shayne and Jordan Johnson; Great Grandchildren: Reanna and Jarrett Young; Bobby, Brandon and wife Alexis, Justin, and Jason Farris; Lela Johnson; Karsyn and Rylee West; Special Nephew: James Rose; Several Great Great Grandchildren, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews; and Her Very, Very Special Church Family at West Sparta Church of Christ. The family will receive friends from 4-8pm Thursday at the Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Short Mountain Bible Camp c/o West Sparta Church of Christ, 100 Hampton Drive, Sparta, TN 38583.

Funeral Services for Mr. Randall “Catfish” Denson, age 45 of Livingston, will be held Friday, February 23, 2018 at 11 AM from the Chapel of Hall Funeral Home in Livingston with Bro Phillip Buck officiating. Mr. Denson passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Denson was born in Livingston on December 31, 1972 to Sandra (Ford) Walker and the late Lonzo Denson. Mr. Denson is SURVIVED by his Mother: Sandra Walker, 3 Aunts: Vicky Ford, Tammy Buck and Darlene Sylvia Delong. In addition to his father, Mr. Denson was PRECEDED in death by his Wife: Tammy Chilton and Grandmother: Doris Ford. Family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 10 AM until the time of service on February 23, 2018.

Funeral services for Dr. Ronald Keith Carr, age 76, of Cookeville, Tennessee, formerly of Livingston will be conducted 12 noon, Friday, February 26, 2018 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Bro. Randy Pickens will officiate. Burial will be in the Eckel Cemetery in Rickman. The family will welcome friends on Friday morning from 10 a.m. until time of services. Dr. Ronald Keith Carr passed from this life on Monday evening, February 19, 2018 at his home. He was born in Overton County to the late Willie V. & Ora Edith Benson Carr. Dr. Carr was a member of the Church of Christ. He was a gentleman farmer. He enjoyed raising donkeys, riding his tractor, and bush hogging the neighbors’ fields. From a family of teachers, Dr. Keith Carr graduated from Lenore City High, and then he attended Tennessee Tech University, where he received his Masters degree in Biology in 1970. He received his PHD in Chemistry from the University of Tennessee in 1985. Dr.Carr worked in Analytical Research at Vanderbilt University for many years and taught school at U.T. Nashville and Tennessee State University until his retirement. After his retirement, he went on to build a house on his farm in Smith County, Tennessee, where he enjoyed working until his death. Dr. Ronald Keith Carr is survived by his brother, Billy Joe Carr & wife Gail of Alpine, TN; grandson, Michael Carr McMillan of Franklin, TN; former wife & long time friend, Gay Carr Weaver & husband Richard Weaver; son-in-law, Scott A. McMillian of Nashville, TN; nieces, Lisa Gay Carr of Texas & Lorelei Rutledge & Heaven Harvey of Colorado; nephews, Donny L. Carr of Texas & Dane Luckfelt of Colarado.

Funeral services for Mrs. Jane Ellon Mullican Gilbert, age 78 of Sparta, will be conducted 1:00pm Friday, February 23, 2018 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial Plainview Cemetery in the Cassville Community. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5-8:00pm at Hunter Funeral Home. Elmore Judd will officiate. Mrs. Gilbert passed away Tuesday morning February 20, 2018 at her residence. Mrs. Gilbert was born July 16, 1939 in McMinnville, Tennessee to the late Henry C. & Bertie Mae Sanders Mullican. She was a retired shirt factory worker but more importantly to her she was a homemaker and raised her family in a good christian home. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by a brother James Mullican; sisters Novella Bounds, Dorothy Powell, Frances Bell and an infant brother.

Graveside services and interment for Mr. Claiborne Calloway, age 48 of Knoxville will be held Friday February 23 at 1 p.m. at Brown’s Mill Cemetery in Cookeville. Dr. Charles McCaskey will officiate. Claiborne’s family will receive friends Friday from 11 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. (C.S.T.) at Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Claiborne died suddenly Monday afternoon February 19, 2018 at his home. He was born September 26, 1969 in Nashville, Tennessee to David Edward and Etta Eugenia Flatt Calloway of Knoxville. Claiborne was a graduate of Farragut High School and earned his BS Degree in History from the University of Tennessee in 1987. He was a long-time employee of ARL Automotive Parts; Food City Foods; and was currently an associate of Kroger’s all in Knoxville.

Funeral services for Mr. Roy Dale Wakefield, age 58, of the Free Communion Community, will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, February 23, 2018 from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Daniels Cemetery. Mr. Wakefield passed from this life on Monday morning, February 19, 2018 from the Overton County Health & Rehab. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on September 12, 1959 to Barnie “Moe” & Joyce Ledbetter Wakefield. He was a 1977 graduate from Livingston Academy, and a Residential Construction Worker. He enjoyed fishing and spending time on the computer. He loved people, music, and being in nature. Dale is survived by his parents, Barnie “Moe” & Joyce Wakefiled of Livingston; sister, Sandy Wakefield of Ann Arbor, MI; uncles, J.B. Ledbetter & wife Denise of Livingston & Carl Ledbetter & wife Janice of Livingston. The family will welcome friends on Thursday evening from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.

Graveside services for Mr. Waymon R. Stults, age 76 of Cookeville, formerly of Sparta, will be conducted 10:00am Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Highland Cemetery. Full military honors will be presented by the Veterans’ Honor Guard. Mr. Stults passed away Wednesday February 21, 2018 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Mr. Stults was born October 4, 1941 to the late Clarence Ray and Lennie Scott Stults. He worked as a plant manager for various factories and proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Waymon was an avid UT fan that bled orange and enjoyed going to the Cookeville YMCA daily. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers Perry Stults and Arlin Stults. His surviving family includes Sons: Jeffrey Waymon Stults and wife Cindi of Altus, OK and Gregory Ray Stults of Cookeville; Grandchildren: Victoria Ezell, Zachary, Addison, Brian Ray, Breanna Lynn; Sister: Virgie Stults; Sisters-in-law: Carolyn Stults, Mae Stults; Friends at the Cookeville YMCA and all of Vol Nation – GBO!

Funeral services for Mathew Joshua Jacobs, 26, of Cookeville, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, February 24, 2018, at Anderson – Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Double Springs Cemetery in Putnam County. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, in Cookeville, TN. He was born March 14, 1991, in Bay City, MI, to Bill Jacobs and Darlene Jacobs. On December 12, 2012, he was married to Candice Jacobs, who survives. He was an auto mechanic by trade. He loved all of his family, and all of his family loved him. Survivors include his Wife: Candice Jacobs of Cookeville, TN; 2 Sons: Liam Jacobs and Ivan Jacobs; 1 Daughter: Layla Jacobs; his Parents: Bill and Darlene Jacobs of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Brothers: Richard Jacobs, Michael (Amber) Jacobs, and Robert (Chasiti) Jacobs; 3 Sisters: Christina (BJ) Brown, Cassey Jacobs, and Kayla Jacobs; and his Paternal Grandparents: William L. Jacobs, Sr., Mary Jacobs, and Sue Burgess. Several nieees, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends also survive. Funeral services for Mrs. Edith Denton Crabtree, age 88, of Livingston are will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, February 25, 2018 from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home. Bro. Denton Hummel will officiate. Burial will be in the Miller Cemetery. Family will welcome friends Friday, February 23, 2018 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and on Saturday, February 24, 2018 until 9 p.m. Mrs. Edith Denton Crabtree passed from this life on Monday evening, February 19, 2018 from the Overton County Health & Rehab. She was born on December 1, 1929 in Overton County to the late Ezra & Rosie Hammock Denton. She worked as an auto part manufacturer. She enjoyed quilting and yard selling. She loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, & great great-grandchildren. Mrs. Edith Crabtree is survived by son, David Crabtree & wife Donna of the Hardy’s Chapel Community; Daughters Wanda Greer & husband Danny of Rickman, Maxine Hynes of Livingston, Kathy White of Livingston, & Cindy McDermott & husband Bobby of Monroe; 15 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; & 8 great great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Bradley Wayne Bingham, age 50 of Cookeville, will be held at Heavenly Host Lutheran Church (777 S. Willow Ave. Cookeville) on Sunday February 25th at 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Tollett’s Chapel Cemetery in Crossville. He passed away on February 21, 2018. Brad was born October 30, 1967 in Crossville. He entered his heavenly home after a long hard battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease). Brad was a member of Heavenly Host Lutheran Church Cookeville, where he had served as an elder and a school board member of Heavenly Host Lutheran School. He was employed by The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service of Cookeville, having 20 years of service. Having grown up in Crossville, Brad graduated from Cumberland County High School. He was a graduate of Tennessee Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Management and a Masters in Biology. He loved hunting, playing softball, and gardening. Brad is preceded in death by his parents, Paul (Bud) Bingham and Celia Tollett Bingham Segroves of Crossville. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Andrea Crouch Bingham formerly of Wartburg and two children, Addison Elizabeth and Brock Aiden Bingham. He is also survived by his stepfather, Jim Segroves of Knoxville; sisters, Paula Bingham Tollett (husband, Dan) of Hendersonville, Allison Coplan (husband, John) of Florida; two nieces, Dana Haddock (husband, Haynes) and their children, Daniel and Anna, and Molly Barbuto (husband, Dave) and their children, Jake and Avary. Also surviving are his mother and father-in-law, Alberta and Roger Long; sister and brother-in-law, Alisia and Doug Freels; and nieces, Anna and Alli Freels. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service at the church. Graveside Memorial Services For Linda Kathleen Bohannon, Age 69, Of Cookeville, Will Be Held On Saturday, March 3, 2018, At 1:00 PM At The Bohannon Cemetery In The Calfkiller Community. Ms. Bohannon Passed Away On Wednesday, February 21, 2018, At Mabry Health Care And Rehab Center In Gainesboro. Ms. Bohannon Was Born On April 29, 1948, In New Kensington, Pennsylvania, To The Late Leland Laverne And Betty Jane Groves Blystone. Ms. Bohannon Was A Custodian At Monterey High School For Many Years. She Is Survived By, 1 Daughter, Cynthia Shuffett Of Monterey; 2 Sons, Scott Suttle Of Smithville, Jamie Suttle Of Livingston; 4 Grandchildren, Samantha Burke, Mishea Suttle, James Santilli, And Abbie Bires; 3 Great Grandchildren, Kaitlyn Burke, Alexander Burke, And Ricky Burke; 2 Brothers, Mark Blystone Of Georgia, John Blystone Of Ohio. In Addition To Her Parents, She Was Preceded In Death By Her Husband, Stanton Bohannon. Her Family Will Receive Friends At The Cemetery Immediately Following The Services.
