Ms. Hellen Turner, age 86 of Sparta, passed away Monday morning, February 19, 2018 at NHC of Sparta. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
Mr. Roy Dale Wakefiled, age 58 of the Free Communion Community, passed from this life on Monday morning, February 19, 2018 from the Overton County Health & Rehab. Dale is survived by his parents, Barnie “Moe” & Joyce Wakefield of the Free Communion Community; sister, Sandy Wakefield of Ann Arbor, MI. Funeral arrangements are in complete.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Tuesday February 20 at 10 a.m. at Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church for Mrs. Lida Cannella, age 94 of Cookeville. Interment will follow in Cookeville City Cemetery. Mrs. Cannella’s family will receive friends Monday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until service time at the church. Mrs. Cannella died Thursday February 15, 2018 at 5:30 a.m. at Heritage Pointe Assisted Living in Cookeville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Avalon Hospice 1080 Neal Street Cookeville, TN 38501.
Funeral services for Mrs. Vickie Pippin, 61, of Cookeville, TN, will be held at 12 Noon on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John Young Cemetery in the Shiloh community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 9 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018, at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, TN. She was born June 13, 1956, in Putnam County, TN, to the late Carl B. Allen and Elese Allen. On June 1, 1974, she was married to Roy Pippin, who survives. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Dodson Branch Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Garry Dale Allen, and 2 Sisters: Linda Garrison and Wanda Allen. Bro. Ronnie Dunn will officiate at the services. Memorial donations may be made to help with funeral expenses by contacting the funeral home.
Funeral services for Judith (Judi) Ann Dobbins Williams, age 74, of Cookeville, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday February 21 at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home with Bro. John Nichols officiating. Interment will follow at Cookeville City Cemetery. Judi passed away Thursday afternoon February 15, 2018 at Signature Health Care of Putnam County. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 – 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of service.
