A total of seven Republican candidates have qualified to run for Cumberland County Mayor.
The seven candidates will face off in the May 1st Primary. The winner will face Independent candidate Sandra Davis in the August 2nd general election.
The seven candidates include Danny Wyatt, Allen Foster, Tim Claflin, J.C. Hancock, Randal Kidwell, Doug Scarlett, and Ligue Wisdom
Current County Mayor Kenneth Carey Junior is not running for re-election. No Democratic candidates qualified for the county mayor race.
