Remote Area Medical Clinic or RAM is returning to Cookeville next month.
RAM Founder Stan Brock said the mobile medical clinic will be providing free medical, dental, and vision care at Cookeville High School March 17th and 18th.
“We look forward to a very nice weekend there, look forward to seeing a lot of nice folks, always great working with the local volunteers and I might say, the patients,” Brock said. “The patients are just fabulous everywhere we go in the United States … so grateful for what we’re able to do for them, and we’re happy to see as many as we can.”
Last year RAM provided care to 873 Putnam County patients, which was about $440,500 in total value of care. Brock said they still need more dental and vision specialist to volunteer their time during the Cookeville visit.
