Motorcycle Crash Leaves Two People Injured Wednesday

Officials with the Tennessee Highway Patrol believe excessive speed caused a Honda motorcycle to crash in Cumberland County last night.

The crash happened on Browntown Road near Frazier Road.

Officials said the accident required 28-year-old Matthan Fish of Crossville and 19-year-old Jesse Surber of Crossville to be airlifted to U.T. Medical Center for treatment.

According to a report, Fish attempted to negotiate a curve at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the bike, which slid some 50 yards before coming to a rest.

Fish remains in critical condition and Surber has left the hospital.
