Body Recovered From Center Hill Lake

DeKalb County authorities have recovered the body of a Murfreesboro woman from Center Hill Lake.

The body of Jerilyn Massey Lamb was discovered by her husband around 8:00 a.m. Sunday morning at Sligo Marina, according to a report from the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities have sent Lamb’s body to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.

This marks the second suspected drowning on Center Hill Lake this year. Earlier this month officials recovered the body of Scott Northrup of Silver Point in the Florida Branch area of the lake.
