Clark Boyd To Fill House District 46 Seat

The Wilson County Commission has selected Lebanon Insurance Agent Clark Boyd to finish out the term of Mark Pody in House District 46.

Pody resigned from the state house after being elected by voters to fill the unexpired term of Mae Beavers in the 17th Senatorial District. Beavers resigned from her Senate seat to focus on her campaign for governor.

Republican Clark Boyd will serve House District-46 until the November General Election. Boyd said he plans to seek another two years in office.

House District-46 represents part of DeKalb County.
