Pickett Co. Purchases New Ambulances

Pickett County has received two new ambulances.

Both ambulances were purchased with the help of a Community Development Block Grant from the Tennessee Department of Economic Development.

County Executive Richard Daniel said both ambulances came equipped with power loading systems, which are devices proven to reduce injuries to EMS personnel.

Daniel said with the addition of the new ambulances, Pickett County becomes the first Upper Cumberland County to have its entire EMS fleet equipped with power loading systems.
