Diane Black Resigning From House Budget Committee Chairmanship

Congresswoman Diane Black announced today that she is stepping down as Chairman of the House Budget Committee to focus on her campaign for governor.

In February, Black became the first female chairman of the Hose Budget Committee after President Donald Trump appointed Congressman Tom Price to serve as Secretary of Health and Human Services.

Black said she plans to remain in Congress while campaigning in 2018.
