The TWRA has charged a Carthage man for illegally killing a deer.
38-year-old David Crawford is accused of shooting a 9 point buck deer without a muzzleloader license and placing bait around his hunting blind. Authorities also accuse Crawford of not wearing blaze orange and failing to check the deer into the State of Tennessee harvest system.
He’s charged with illegal possession of wildlife, hunting big game over bait, failure to tag big game, and failure to wear blaze orange.
A judge has previously found Crawford guilty of hunting deer over bait.
