Putnam County’s Fiscal Review Committee has recommended approval of a sale agreement for property in the highlands Business Park.
If approved by the County Commission on Monday, Cookeville-based Oculus Software would purchase the 4.3 acres for $20,000 per acre, or about $86,000.
Oculus Software formed in 2008 out of Bank of Putnam County. The company currently has nine employees and serves several banks in Tennessee as well as 15-different banks in 15-states across the country.
The Cookeville City Council approved the purchase during their monthly meeting last week.
