More job opportunities are coming to White County.
Cookeville-based Lanmills company has announced plans to create 100 jobs by locating in one of the new spec buildings at the Fitzgerald Industrial Park.
The industrial park is also home to Fitzgerald Collision and Repair and Fitzgerald Truck Parts and Sales.
County Executive Denny Wayne Robinson said it’s been one of the most productive years in county history for economic development.
“I’d love to tell you it’s me, but it’s not. It is the team and support we have here in the Upper Cumberland with our development district and Highlands Economic Partnership,” Robinson said. “Working relations we have with the city of Cookeville and Putnam County has also been a blessing to us here in White County.”
Earlier this year Hoermann LLC announced plans to construct a 350,000 square foot facility across the street from the industrial park, which will create approximately 200 jobs.
Another 100,000 square foot spec building is currently being built at the industrial park.
