Free Hunting Day Saturday

Tennessee’s free hunting day is Saturday.

Free hunting day is an annual event, which allows residents to hunt without a license.

Saturday is also the opening day of squirrel season.

The TWRA encourages hunters to use the day to introduce friends and family to hunting. It’s also a good day for those who haven’t hunted in a few years to get back out in the woods.
