The Animal Rescue Corps is asking for donations after recovering nearly 50 animals from a Putnam County home.
The organization released a statement Friday saying the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office requested their assistance after the animals were reported to be living in deplorable conditions.
Animal Rescue Corps volunteers were called to Locust Grove Road in Cookeville while authorities responded to a home on an unrelated matter.
PCSO released a statement that more information would be released at a later time.
