For the second time in two days, Cookeville Police arrested a Baxter man for driving with a revoked license.
And in both cases, officers found methamphetamine in the vehicle.
The latest incident happened Wednesday afternoon when police spotted 23-year-old Micajah Grey Bowman of Baxter driving east on Pippen Road about 4:30pm. Officers stopped Bowman on the revoked license charge.
Once stopped, officers found Bowman’s passenger, Tiandria Lynn Stafford, age 24 of Cookeville, carrying a black make-up container. Inside, officers found 1.5 grams of meth. Stafford admitted to police the meth belonged to her.
Stafford faces simple possession charges. Bowman faces charges of driving with a revoked license.
Tuesday morning, police arrested Bowman on Salem Road after calls concerning suspicious activity. Cookeville Police found a cigarette pack with nine bags inside. The bags contained methamphetamine.
