A traffic stop in Putnam County Monday led to the arrest of an 18-year-old Cleveland teen.
Authorities charged Alexandra Laplume for possession of methamphetamine, possession of a firearm during a felony, and simple possession of marijuana.
According to arrest warrants, a Putnam County Sheriff’s deputy stopped a vehicle for a registration violation.
The deputy noticed a strong marijuana smell coming from the vehicle and identified Laplume as a passenger.
A search of the vehicle uncovered 1.5 grams of meth, four grams of marijuana, along with a fully-loaded AR-15 and pistol.
Laplume admitted the items were hers and was booked into the Putnam County Jail on $7,000 bond.
Laplume has since posted bond and will appear in court June 24.
