Marguerite Moss, age 99 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed from this life Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at her home in Cookeville. She was born Tuesday, August 17, 1920 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was the daughter of the late Isaac Frank Hargiss, Sr. and the late Fern Hite Hargiss. Marguerite will be cremated at Crest Lawn Funeral Home. The family will not hold a memorial service at this time. The family wishes to thank the kind staff at Morningside of Cookeville, and Kindred Hospice for their devoted care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Putnam County Library.

Graveside Funeral Services For Harson Buckner, Age 89, Of Monterey, Tennessee, Will Be Conducted On Thursday, March 19, 2020, At 4:00 PM At The Phillips Cemetery In The Anderson Community With Full Military Honors Provided By The Veterans Honor Guard. Pastor Sam Parnell Will Officiate With Interment To Follow. Mr. Buckner Was Born On December 4, 1930, In Monterey, Tennessee, To The Late Issac Lee And Ethel Lee Phillips Buckner. Mr. Buckner Passed Away On Tuesday, March 17, 2020, At Carrick Glen Senior Living In Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. Mr. Buckner, Affectionately Known As “Pepa”, Was Owner/Operator Of Buck’s Body Shop. He Worked With Chrysler In Detroit, Michigan, Douglas Aircraft And Avco Aerostructures In Nashville, Tennessee. He Was A Member Of Union Grove Freewill Baptist Church For Over 65 Years And Served As A Sunday School Teacher. He Was A United States Army Korean War Veteran Serving As A Machine Gunner During The Battle Of Heartbreak Ridge. He Is Survived By His Wife Of Over 66 Years, Esta Kathryn Bilbrey Buckner Of Monterey, TN; Daughter And Son-In-Law, Katrina And Ed Hagerty Of Mt. Juliet, TN; Son And Daughter-In-Law, Darson And Suzanne Buckner Of Knoxville, TN; Sons, Lynell (And Cathy) Williams Of Monterey, TN, Ralph (And Jessica) Williams Of Monterey, TN; 6 Grandchildren, Kristina (Sam) Parnell, Kacy (Andrew) Callaghan, Kelly (Luke) Strimaitis, Kaleb (Grace) Buckner, Chelsea (Wesley) Boles And Dana Brunhammer; 8 Great Grandchildren And 2 Expected In 2020; Sister And Brother-In-Law, Edna And Perry Brown Of Cookeville, TN; 2 Brothers And A Sister-In-Law, Hollis And Dimple Buckner Of Monterey, TN, Coy Buckner Of Monterey, TN; Sister-In-Law, Bernice Buckner Of Monterey, TN; And Numerous Nieces And Nephews. Due To Recent Healthcare Precautions, Family And Friends Will Be Received At The Phillips Cemetery In The Anderson Community On Thursday, March 19, 2020, For Graveside Services.

Funeral Services for Mr. James Edward “Eddie” Sells age 55, of Gordonsville, and formerly of Overton County will be conducted 3 p.m., Saturday, March 21, 2020 from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home. Burial to follow in the Beaty Cemetery, with Military Honors provided at Graveside by the Tennessee Honor Guard. Mr. James Edward “Eddie” Sells passed from this life on Monday, March 16, 2020 in Gordonsville. He was born August 31, 1964 to Margie Beaty Sells and the late Kenneth Edward Sells. The family will welcome friends on Friday from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m., then on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of services at 3 p.m. at the Livingston Funeral Home.

Funeral Services for Mr. Gerald Lee Ferrill, age 81, of Livingston, will be conducted 2 p.m., Thursday, March 26, 2020 from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home. Bro. Timothy Wilson will officiate. Burial to follow in the Carr Cemetery. Mr. Gerald Lee Ferrill passed from this life on Monday evening, March 16, 2020 from the Livingston Regional Medical Center. He was born in Overton County on May 5, 1938 to the late Aaron & Bessie Lee Carr Ferrill. A 1957 graduate of Livingston Academy, and Baptist in Faith. Gerald leaves behind his son, Troy Ferrill & wife Tonya of Battle Creek, MI; daughter, Virginia Gillespie & husband Rick of Battle Creek, MI; grandchildren, Amber Lee Gillespie, Kiley EgelKraut, Cierra Ferrill, and Savanna Ferrill; great-grandchild, Haylee Gillispie; brothers, Carl Ferrill & wife Jean of Livingston, and Aaron Ferrill, Jr. & wife Patricia of Cookeville; sisters, Sue Choate of Smyrna, and Jane Ruzansky & husband Marty of Philadelphia, PA. In addition to his parents, Gerald was preceded in death by his brother, Rex Ferrill. The family will welcome friends on Wednesday, March 25th from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Livingston Funeral Home.

Graveside Services for Paul Garrison, age 81 of Cookeville will be held March 28, 2020 at 2pm at Boma Cemetery. He passed from this Wednesday, February 19, 2020, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born Monday, March 28, 1938 in Gainesboro, Tennessee. He was the son of the late Vestel and Annie (Ramsey) Garrison. Paul was a Machinist and retired from Clawson, Michigan. The family has chosen cremation.

Memorial services for Wayne H. Lawton, 72, of Cookeville, will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, March 28, 2020, at Anderson – Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro. The family has chosen cremation. He passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2020, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. He was born April 28, 1947, in Pawtucket, RI, to the late Albert Forrest Lawton, Sr. and Betty Mo Mitchell Lawton. On December 14, 2003, he was married to Carol Sue Dailey Lawton, who survives. He was a truck driver, and served in the U.S. Army. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his Wife: Carol Sue Dailey Lawton of Cookeville; 1 Son: Caleb Lawton of Cookeville; 2 Daughters: Christina (Edward) Laquerre and Jaclyn (Tony) McCloud, all of Cookeville, TN; 8 Grandchildren: Patrick, Eric, Dylan, Amara, Marcus, Haven, Balon, and Kayson; 6 Great Grandchildren: Gayvn, Alina, Abigail, Jaden, Logan, and Bailey; 1 Brother: Albert Lawton, Jr. of RI; 1 Sister: Janice Trottier of RI; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 28, 2020 from 9 A.M. until time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project by contacting the funeral home.
