Reba Flatt, Age 70, Of Cookeville, passed Away On Tuesday, July 7, 2020, At Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Linda Maxwell, age 77, passed away Tuesday evening at NHC of Cookeville. Arrangements are incomplete.

Funeral services for Frank Delano Herron, age 80 of Sparta, will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, July 9, 2020 at the Smith Chapel Cemetery.Frank passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at the Signature Health Care in Monteagle. He was the son of the Russell and Dona Scott Herron. He was a retired factory worker. Frank is survived by his sister: Charlene Hamlin of Sparta along with several Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. J.D. Heady, age 79 of Sparta, will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, July 9, 2020 in the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in the Saylors Cemetery. He passed away after an extended illness at his residence, surrounded by his family on Sunday, July 5, 2020. He was born March 7, 1941 in White County, TN to the late Tolbert and Linnie Nabors Heady. He is survived by his wife Barbara Ann Leonard Heady of Sparta; son Rick Heady of Sparta; daughters Annette (Brad) Rutledge of Cookeville, Monica (Darin) Parsons of Cassville. The family will receive friends from 11 am until service time on Thursday. Rev. Jonathan Angel will officiate the services.

Mr. Buckner Was Born On November 29, 1931, In Monterey To The Late Coleman And Nina Wilson Buckner. Mr. Buckner Passed Away On Tuesday, July 7, 2020, At Life Care Center Of Crossville. He Was A United States Korean War Army Veteran. He Is Survived By, 1 Son And Daughter-In-Law, Rev. Jerry And Connie Buckner Of Monterey, 1 Granddaughter, Amanda Holman Of Monterey, 1 Great Grandson, Riley Holman Of Monterey, 3 Sisters And Brothers-In-Law, Beatrice And James England Of Monterey, Roxie And Bill Swafford Of Chattanooga, Linda And Vardon Simcox Of Chattanooga. Graveside service and interment for Donna Sue Rhoton, 58 of Cookeville, will be Saturday, July 11 at 10:00 a.m. at Nash Cemetery. Bro. Marc Burnett and Bro. Gary West will officiate. Mrs. Rhoton died Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born December 5, 1961 in Overton County to the late William Cordis Ledbetter and Ann Louis Ferrell Ledbetter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Herman Rhoton who died February 5, 2017, brothers Barry Joe Ledbetter and William Steve Ledbetter. Due to COVID-19 precautions, social distancing measures will be observed. Donna retired from UCDD as a Bookkeeper and was a caregiver. She was a member of Colonial View Baptist Church. Survivors include daughters: Lora Rhoton of Baxter, Mandy (Robert) Young of Cookeville, Erica (Ryan) Francescon of Nashville, sons Harold Rhoton, Richard (Billie) Rhoton all of Baxter, sister Kathy Randolph of Baxter, brother Richard (Karen) Ledbetter of Cookeville, grandchildren: Lindsey (Derek) Holloway, Heather Rhoton, Alexa (Nicholas) Barnett, Katie Davis and Kolton Young. Graveside services for Margaret Dee Dietz, age 86 of Cookeville, will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Bro. Bobby Floyd will officiate. Mrs. Dietz passed away on Friday, July 3, 2020 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Margaret Dee Dietz was born on April 10, 1934 to the late Buster and Edna Hawkins Coffelt. She was of the Baptist faith, and member of Poplar Grove Baptist Church.

Memorial services for Roger Hawke, 85 of Upton Kentucky, will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday July 11, 2020 at Crest Lawn Funeral Home. He passed away Monday July 6, 2020. Born Saturday, August 18, 1934 in Upton, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Clyde Hawke and the late Ester Meers Hawke. He was a Veteran of the Korean War. Surviving Daughters are Linda Shannon and Gina Hawke. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM Saturday, July 11, 2020, at Crest Lawn Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Robert James Furman Sr., age 77, of Sparta will be help at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 11 at Thurman Funeral Home. Interment will be at Plainview Cemetery in Cassville. He passed away on July 3rd at his residence in Sparta. He is survived by his sons, Robert James Furman Jr., William Thomas Furman, and Jesse Wayne Furman, Shelby Randolph; brothers Walter Furman, and Fred Furman; sisters, Margret Doyle, Laura Paulick; granddaughters, Jessica Furman, Madisyson Furman, Rachel Furman, Renae Furman, Rebekah Furman, and Christine, Graci Furman; great grandbabies, Macie Troglen, and Khilee Cunningham. The family will accept visitors on Saturday, July 11, 2020 from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM in the chapel of Thurman Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Bobby Joe Stafford, 77, of the Fairview community of Jackson County, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, July 12, 2020, at Anderson – Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro. Burial will follow in the Stafford Family Cemetery in the Fairview community of Jackson County. He passed away on Monday, July 6, 2020, at NHC Healthcare in Cookeville with his daughters by his side. He was drafted into the United States Army in October of 1966, and proudly served his Country for 2 years. Special thanks to his friends at NHC Healthcare of Cookeville who provided excellent care and friendship during his multiple visits over the years. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Veterans Honor Guard or Wounded Warriors Project by contacting the funeral home. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4 P.M. – 8 P.M., and Sunday from 1 P.M. until time of services.
