Ms. Jeanette Jolley of Byrdstown passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Ms. Mary Reba Pigg, age 89 of Cookeville, passed away Monday, November 21, 2022. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Aaron Landon Ramsey, the eight-week-old son of Landon Ramsey and MaKayla Ferrell Ramsey of Cookeville, passed away Monday, November 21, 2022. The family chose cremation, and a private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Aaron was born Sunday, September 25, 2022, in Knoxville. In addition to his parents, survivors include a sister, Lydia Lou Ramsey; maternal grandparents, Marshall and Beverly Ferrell; paternal grandparents, Troy and Rosa Ramsey.

A memorial gathering for Ms. Lavenia Cass, age 77 of Clearwater, FL and formerly of Cookeville, will be held Friday, November 25, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., at the Cookeville chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Ms. Cass passed away October 16, 2022, in Clearwater, FL. She was born July 16, 1944 ,in Cookeville, the daughter of the late Sarah Fannie Randolph Cass and James Earl Cass. She graduated from Cookeville High school and attended Tennessee Technological Institute. Lavenia had a long career with Delta Airlines. Survivors include three sisters, Betty Sliger, Carolyn (Gene) Whitley, and Judy (Mike) Estes; a brother, Jerry (Connie) Cass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

A Memorial Mass for Mr. John Robert “Bob” Bruzda, age 79 of Cookeville, will be held Friday, November 25, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. A Celebration of Life gathering for Mr. Bruzda will be held Saturday, November 26, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., at Crest Lawn Funeral Home. Mr. Bruzda passed away Sunday, November 20, 2022, at his home. He was born Saturday, March 13, 1943, in Uniontown, PA, the son of the late John and Zelda Kathleen (Dodrill) Bruzda. Bob proudly served in the United States Air Force. He was a loyal member of The Knights of Columbus at Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. He belonged to the Coast Guard Auxiliary and the American Legion. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Anna Louise (Albani) Bruzda; a daughter, Kimberly Ann (John) Mitchell; a son, Ronald Joseph Bruzda.

Funeral services for Mr. Ricky Lynn Reagan, age 62 of Monroe, will be held Friday, November 25, at 5:00 p.m., in the chapel of Hall Funeral Home of Livingston. The family has chosen cremation after the service. Mr. Reagan passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was born December 10, 1959, in Livingston, the son of Mary Lou (Reagan) Farley and the late Edward Farley. In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Mary Reagan; a daughter, Amanda Matthews; a son, Joshua Lynn Reagan. Visitation will be held Friday, from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

Memorial graveside services for Mr. Charles Lex Dyer, age 80 of Cookeville, will be Saturday, November 26, at 11:00 a.m., at Cookeville City Cemetery. Mr. Dyer passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at his home. He was born January 6, 1942, in Detroit, MI, the son of the late Joseph Franklin Dyer, Sr. and Nell Gentry Dyer. Charles was a graduate of Putnam County High School and a United States Army veteran. He was a member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church and retired from Dacco of Cookeville. Survivors include his wife, Emogene Gibson Dyer of Cookeville; two sons, Christopher (Faye) Dyer of Lakeland, FL and Eric Dyer of Cookeville; a stepdaughter, Melissa (Eddie) Glover of Cookeville; a stepson, Glen (Belinda) Lewis of Baxter. There will be no visitation prior to the service.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ann Maxine Garrett Nivens, age 93 of Murfreesboro and formerly of Allons, will be held Saturday, November 26, at 11:00 a.m., in the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery. Mrs. Nivens passed away November 15, 2022, in Murfreesboro. She was born December 1, 1928, at home in Allons, the daughter of the late Pascal and Ove Mae Buck Garrett. She was a 1946 graduate of Livingston Academy, worked alongside her husband as a pastor’s wife, and served as an interpreter for the deaf and as a piano teacher with many students from Overton, Clay, and Putnam counties.  Survivors include three sons, Gene (Diana) Nivens of Oak Ridge, Gary (Donna) Nivens of Johnson City, and Jim (Rachel) Nivens of Black Lick, OH; three daughters, Janie (Richard) Cook of Allons, Jacquie (Donald) Cartledge of Lakeland, FL, and Velvet (Edward) York of Murfreesboro. Visitation will be held Friday, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services or Mr. Bobby Randy Collins, age 60 of Byrdstown, will be held Saturday, November 26, at 1:00 p.m., at Upward Church. Burial will follow in Faix Cemetery. Mr. Collins passed away Sunday, November 20, 2022. He was born December 28, 1961, in Burkesville, KY, the son of the late Bobby Ransom Collins and Frances Katherine (Rich) Collins Graham. He was a former carpenter and janitor, and attended Upward Church, where he served as an elder. Survivors include three daughters,  Lisa Anderson, Chelsea (Cody) Muse, and Amelia (Hansel) Cooper; a son, Christopher (Lori) Collins. Visitation will be held Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

Funeral services for Mr. Michael Duane Tucker, age 70 of Silver Point, will be held Saturday, November 26, at 1:00 p.m., at the Baxter chapel of Hooper, Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Mr. Tucker passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at his home. He was born June 18, 1952, in Richmond, IN, the son of the late Dell and Rosa Jones Tucker. Duane was a retired truck driver and also worked as a pool installer with Straight Arrow Construction. He was also a United States Army veteran. Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Brenda Cosgrove Tucker of Silver Point; a daughter, April Price of Richmond, IN; a stepson, David Thomas of Silver Point. Visitation will be held Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

A memorial service for Ms. Ima Dean Burgess Brown Sullivan, age 96 of Livingston, will be held Saturday, November 26, at 3:00 p.m., at the Kingdom Hall of Livingston. Ms. Sullivan passed away Friday, November 11, 2022, at Overton County Health and Rehab. She was born April 26, 1926, in Allons, the daughter of the late Will and Essie Holman Burgess. She was a longtime employee of Lady Ann Hospital and also worked as a private caregiver for many years. Ms. Sullivan was of the Jehovah Witness faith. Survivors include a daughter, Mary Rose Norris. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Livingston or to a charitable organization of your choice.

Memorial services for Mr. Carsie J. Baldwin, age 79 of Cookeville, will be held Saturday, November 26, at 4:00 p.m., at the Dyer chapel of Hooper, Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Mr. Baldwin passed away Friday, November 18, 2022, at his home. He was born September 4, 1943 in Double Springs, the son of the late James and Grace Philpot Baldwin. Carsie was a retired mechanic. Survivors include a daughter, Jayme (Keith) Dyer of Nashville; a son, Carsey L. (Lindsey) Baldwin of Smyrna; two stepdaughters, Kathy (Billy) Dyer of Cookeville and Angie (Shane) Ashton of Alexandria, IN; a stepson, Brian Harris of Sparta. Visitation will be held Saturday, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, please make donations toward funeral expenses.

Funeral services for Ms. Jennie Cordelia McGlohn, age 101 of Cookeville, will be held Tuesday, November 29, at 11:00 a.m., at the Baxter chapel of Hooper, Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Paris, TN, on Wednesday, November 30, at 11:00 a.m. Mrs. McGlohn passed away January 2, 1921. Visitation will be held Tuesday, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

A memorial service for Mr. Rondal “Buddy” D. Reed, age 70 of the Hardy’s Chapel community, will be held Saturday, December 3, at 2:00 p.m., at Keeping the Faith Church. Mr. Reed passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at his residence. He was born July 4, 1952, in Dayton, OH, the son of the late Dana Ree and Isabelle Clouse. Buddy served in the National Guard and worked as a truck driver. Survivors include his wife, JoAnn Edmonds Reed of the Hardy’s Chapel community; a son, Bud (Connie) Reed of the Hardy’s Chapel community; two daughters, Julia (Jamie) King and Angel (Daniel) Bowman, both of the Hardy’s Chapel community. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 3, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
