Celebration Of Life Services For Jonathan “Jon” Holloway, Age 61, Of Cookeville, Will Be Conducted On Thursday, June 20, 2019, At 6:00 PM From The Chapel Of Goff Funeral Home. Mr. Holloway Passed Away On Sunday, June 9, 2019, At His Home. Mr. Holloway Was Born On April 2, 1958, In Jamestown, To The Late Marvin Paul Holloway, Jr. And Joanna Allred Holloway Of Monterey. Mr. Holloway Was A Brick Mason. He Was A United States Navy Veteran. He Loved His Family And His Favorite Hobbies Were Shooting Pool And Fishing. In Addition To His Mother, He Is Survived By His 2 Daughters, Latasha Wilcutt Of Cookeville, Jacquline Holloway Of Silver Point; 5 Grandchildren, Maiah Celeste Ringwald, Kason Rylan Ringwald, Steven David Moore, Chase Dewayne Wilson And Gracelyn Faith Wilcutt; Sister And Brother-In-Law, Holly And George Hall Of Monterey; Brother And Sister-In-Law, Sam And Amanda Holloway Of Monterey. The Family Will Receive Friends At Goff Funeral Home On Thursday, June 20, 2019, From 5:00 PM Until Time Of Services At 6:00 PM.

Funeral services for Vincent Kyle “Vince” Carpenter, age 52, of Cookeville will be held Friday, June 21st, 2019 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Presley Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Gaw and Brenda Cowan Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Cookeville City Cemetery. Vince passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at his home in Cookeville following brief illness. Vince was born Monday, June 20, 1966 in Morristown to Andrew Kyle Carpenter and Wanda Elizabeth Cosson Carpenter. The pride and joy of his life were his two daughters. He enjoyed spending time with them and other family more than anything. He was a avid hunter and fisherman. Vince started working in construction with his Dad at the age of 12. He worked his way up through the years and finished his career as a Project Superintendent in Cookeville at King Construction. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Clifton and Lucille Cosson; paternal grandparents, Johnny and Maggie Sue Carpenter; uncle, Charlie Frank Cosson. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Kelly Carpenter; 2 daughters, Mahala and Alexa Carpenter of Cookeville; parents, Kyle and Wanda Carpenter of Cookeville; sister, Renee Carpenter and partner, Douglas Isenberger of Nashville; niece, Katherine Trubee of Knoxville; nephew, Carlos Alfaro of Nashville; special friend of the family, Brenda Cowan Miller, of Cookeville; 2 aunts and 2 uncles in East Tennessee. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 21, 2019, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Presley Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to: Washington Ave. Baptist Church, Children’s Ministry, 1621 N. Washington Ave, Cookeville, TN 38501.

Funeral services for Donald Eugene Jackson, 69, of Monterey, will be held at 2 P.M. on Friday, June 21, 2019, at Anderson – Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro. Burial will follow in the Sam Flatt Cemetery on Shepardsville Hwy. in Jackson County. He passed away on Monday, June 17, 2019, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born November 13, 1949, in Gainesboro, to the late William Carmel Jackson and Eudell “Tootsie” Jackson. He was married to the late Patricia Jackson. He worked as an auto mechanic. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Ronald Jackson. Survivors include 2 Sons: Donald Jackson and James Jackson, both of Gainesboro; 6 Grandchildren: Josh Jackson, Shawn Lamb, Jacob Jackson, James Lamb, Joseph Jackson, and Jodi Jackson; 1 Great Grandchild: Landon Jackson; 1 Brother: Danny Jackson of Rickman; and 2 Sisters: Carol Moore of Livingston, and Judy Isom of Cookeville. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10 A.M. until time of services.

Memorial Services for Glenna Sharon, age 70 of Cookeville, will be held Saturday, June 22, 2019 beginning at 3:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 3850 Gainesboro Grade Cookeville, TN 38501. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He passed from this life Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born Monday, March 28, 1949 in Lake City, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Wesley Carr and Alma Naomi (Byrd) Foust. Glenna Sharon was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and enjoyed sharing her strong faith with everyone she met. (JW.org). She was a meek and kind person who loved her God, her Congregation, her Family, and Friends and Neighbors. She also loved animals especially small dogs.

Celebration of Life for Mary Alice (Hedgecough) Moser, age 78, of Cookeville, will be held Sunday, June 23, 2019, at 3:30 pm from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Lane of the Brotherton Free Will Baptist Church officiating. Ms. Moser chose cremation. Mary passed away June 19, 2019, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Mary was born in Cookeville to the late Willie and Mildred Hedgecough on April 17th, 1941. She was married to the late Edwin Moser for 8 years. Mary was a loving, strong-willed mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She cherished and loved her grandchildren dearly. Mary loved to cook for her family. She was always independent until she was no longer able to be. She was a restaurant owner and a waitress in Toledo, Ohio, and later became a nanny after returning to Cookeville. Mary was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her children, Ronnie, Jr. and Shelley Cravens of Lambertville, Michigan, Michelle and Michael Hood of Sparta, and Renee Green of Baxter; Brother, Dillard Hedgecough; Grandchildren, Michael and Amanda Cravens, Brandon Hood, Farran Hood, Tonya Gaw, and Kate and Stan Arnold; and Six Great-Grandchildren, Mallory and Sam Cravens, Kailey and Dennis Gaw, Emma and Claira Arnold. In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by Many sisters and brothers. The family of Mary Moser wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the CRMC Cancer Center staff for their many years of loving and compassionate care. Visitation will be held June 23, 2019, from 1:30 pm until 3:30 pm at Crest Lawn Funeral Home.
