Upper Cumberland Religious Leader To Be Laid To Rest Saturday

Funeral services take place Saturday for a well-known Upper Cumberland religious leader.

Rev. Coleman Looper died Tuesday at the age of 80.

An evangelist for 63-years, Looper co-founded Livingston’s Fairview Freewill Baptist Church and founded Love Freewill Baptist in Crossville.

Looper also owned and operated the Grand Ole Gospel Barn in Crossville for 24-years. In addition, he recorded over 35 albums and hosted the Coleman’s Sing Time television show for many years.

Funeral services take place Saturday at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Goff Funeral Home.
