A Two-Vehicle crash in Trousdale County claimed the life of two people Wednesday.
The accident happened on Highway 10 when 20-year-old Adrianne Torres pulled into the path of a southbound tractor trailer, driven by 42-year-old Ryan Huffman of Huntington, Tennessee. A Tennessee Highway Patrol crash report said Torres’s 2003 Cadillac landed on its top after the tractor trailer crashed into the driver’s side.
The THP on Thursday identified the deceased as 19-year-old Ayjean Miles of Hartsville and 18-year-old Lennasha Dowell-Harper of Lebanon. A crash report listed Miles and Dowell-Harper as passengers inside the Cadillac. Miles and Dowell-Harper were not wearing seat belts, according to the report.
Torres suffered injuries during the crash, while Huffman did not. The report said alcohol and drugs may have been a factor in the accident.
