Today In The Upper Cumberland: Job Searching

Anthony Scionti offers resources on job searching from the American Job Center.

Unemployment numbers this week across the Upper Cumberland improved, down virtually across the board, but still double, if not triple, what they were a year ago. This weekend marks the end of the $600 COVID payments from the federal government. They likely will not return to that level, if at all. So today some advice on getting back to work. What can you do to find a job? What resources are available through the American Job Center in Cookeville, serving the entire Upper Cumberland. Anthony Scionti is our guest.

Today In The Upper Cumberland airs each weekend as a way to introduce you to interesting people and subjects of interest to our community. Catch the show each Saturday morning at 6 on Rock 93-7, 106-9 Kicks Country, and at 8 on Lite Rock 95.9.

If you miss it Saturday, you can catch Today In The Upper Cumberland again, Sunday. The show airs Sunday morning at 7am on Rock 93-7 and News Talk 94.1/AM 1600, Sundays at Noon on News Talk 94.1/AM 1600, and Sunday night at 6pm on Lite Rock 95.9 and at 7pm on 106-9 Kicks Country.
