Three Candidates For Vacant Cumberland School Board Seat

Three people have applied for the vacant 4th District Cumberland County Board of Education seat.
The county commission meets next week to appoint one of the applicants to replace Josh Stone. Stone resigned earlier this year after moving out of the district.
Applicants include former North Cumberland Elementary School teacher Anita Hale, Crossville Ceramics director of engineering Brian McDonald, and Joseph Dunn.
The county commission meets Tuesday at 6 p.m. Other names may be submitted during the meeting.
