This Week: Warren BOE Reviews Policies, Cookeville Planning Considers Action

This week in the Upper Cumberland the Warren County School Board will review its school policy on personal use of electronics.

Members will also receive an update on construction projects ongoing in the district. Monday’s meeting begins at 5:00 p.m. at Dibrell Elementary School.

Livingston will have two meetings Monday. The Livingston Planning Commission will meet at 5:00 p.m. at City Hall. The Board of Zoning Appeals follows at 5:30 p.m. A resident has requested a property line setback for 827 Hi-Tech Drive.

The Cookeville Planning Commission will consider action on three residential phases of development with Design Development of TN. A six month extension on 95 single family lots for the Reserve at the Country Club, a 54 lot preliminary plat for the same development and another 23 lots.

The commission will also consider to study the preliminary plat of Liberty Subdivision. 67 lots located on Salem Church Road. Business begins Monday at 5:30 at the Cookeville Municipal Building.

The Jackson County Commission meets Monday at 7:00 p.m. Commissioners will consider approving the county’s redistricting plan. Some 200 residents would be affected. Changes include population increases for Districts 1 and 2, and a decrease of Districts 3 and 4.

Commissioners will also consider a health insurance increase of five percent. Officials will gather at the Jackson County Courthouse for the meeting.

Thursday, the Cookeville Regional Board of Trustees will meet at 6:00 p.m. Members will hear financial and planning reports at the administration board room.
