This week in the Upper Cumberland the Cookeville City Council will meet Tuesday to work shop its agenda for an upcoming meeting.
The council will vote on official business Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
Wednesday, the UCHRA Policy Council will meet at 10:30 a.m. The group consists of representatives of several chapters such as law enforcement, mental health and workforce.
Thursday, the Center Hill Rural Planning Organization will meet at 1:00 p.m. The Center Hill RPO is responsible for comprehensive transportation planning for Cannon, Cumberland, DeKalb, Putnam, Warren, White and Van Buren counties.
The Putnam County School Board will meet at 5:00 p.m. at central office. The Sparta Board of Aldermen will meet at 5:00 p.m. at city hall. The board will hear reports from the city departments
The Baxter City Council gathers at 6:00 p.m. The Council will consider its next fiscal year budget on second reading.
The Gainesboro Board of Aldermen will hold meeting at city hall at 7:00 p.m. Members will hear an update from its engineer consultant on ongoing water projects.
