A vehicle struck and injured an Arlington, Texas man in Cookeville Friday.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol said 49-year-old Mark Oberlander was airlifted to Erlanger Hospital for treatment.
The incident happened just before 2 p.m. on Neal Street.
A THP incident report said Oberlander was heading westbound in the Neal Street median and walked into the path of an eastbound vehicle, driven by 59-year-old Jimmy Ray Chaffin. Oberlander was struck by the front end of Chaffin’s 2014 Ford F250.
No charges were filed and Oberlander’s condition is not known at this time.
