U.S. News and World has ranked Tennessee Tech University as one of the top universities in the nation.
The annual report ranked Tennessee Tech at number 135 among 272 public universities.
According to a press release, the report marks Tennessee Tech’s fourth consecutive year in the Best of National Universities.
The publication also named the university a “A+ Schools for B Students” list. The category looks at high academic quality, high first-year retention rate, and high school class standing.
Tech is the only Tennessee public university in the list’s national university category.
The University’s College of Engineering was ranked number 170 in the “Best Undergraduate Engineering Doctorate Programs Ranking.” The College of Business also ranked as a top national business college.
