Trousdale County authorities have arrested a man for allegedly killing his prison cellmate.
Grand jury indictments charge 40-year-old Jacob Wendell Kado with one count of second degree murder.
Special Agents with the TBI responded to a fight between inmates last year at the Trousdale Turner Correctional Center. Agents learned of a fight between Kado and his former cellmate, identified as 73-year-old Ernest Hill.
A press release said Hill suffered injuries during the fight and later died. Authorities transported Kado to the Trousdale County Jail on Tuesday for booking.
