Two Sparta Gas Stations On One Year Probation After Sting Operation

Two Sparta convenience stores have been put on a one year probation for selling alcohol after being caught in a sting operation. Sparta Police Department conducted the compliance checks. Free car seat inspections and seats are available in White County today at Gary Maxwell Insurance. The group Safe Journey is hosting the event from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. Sparta Lowers Food Truck Vendor Permit Fees

Sparta approved an ordinance cutting food truck vendor fees in half during its Thursday meeting. With the change, food truck vendors will be assessed a $25 charge for a one day permit to $250 for a one year permit.
