Sparta Police Get New Cameras

Sparta’s police department will be receiving new body and in-car cameras. The Board of Alderman on Thursday approved the $94,000 purchase. Sparta Paving Project Almost Complete With Plans To Add More

The city of Sparta’s paving project is close to being complete. Sparta Board of Mayor and Aldermen approved a $5.4 million budget for the new fiscal year with no city property tax increases. The Sparta Board of Alderman approved the purchase of $25,000 of personal protective equipment for city police.
