Prescott And Jere Whitson Elementary Over 90 Percent Capacity

Two Putnam County elementary schools enter the spring over 90 percent capacity and will be limited in enrollment for next school year after Thursday night’s school board vote. Prescott Elementary has a capacity number of 95 percent while Jere Whitson Elementary sits at 94 percent. Students in Cookeville High School’s brand-new Civil Engineering and Architecture class created renderings for affordable homes in partnership with Habitat for Humanity. Putnam County Schools Awarded More Than $60K For Employee Appreciation

Putnam County Schools awarded more than $60,000 to promote employee recognition and appreciation. The funding from Utrust includes $30,000 to promote employee appreciation system-wide and an additional $30,200 to be divided among all Putnam County schools to fund appreciation activities in each school.
