Dale Hollow Dam & Lake Officially Completed 80 Years Ago This Fall

80 years ago this month, construction completed on the Dale Hollow Dam and Lake, the oldest man-made lake in the state. Overton Co. Museum Reopens

The Overton County Heritage Museum in Livingston has reopened. Museum Director Paula Stover said museum officials used the down-time to perform some improvements to the building. “We’ve done some repainting of the floors and walls,” Stover said. “The military exhibit has been completely redone.
