A new HVAC system will be installed in the Burks Elementary School gym this summer. Cookeville and Upperman High Schools are repairing their gym floors this July. Putnam County Schools Facilities and Construction Supervisor John Magura said the floors are usually repaired every 10 to 12 years. The Putnam County School Board approved a window project for Sycamore Elementary at Thursday’s meeting.
