Fallen Trees In Brooks Bend Area Of Jackson County, Roads Closed

Jackson County experienced some minor damages from this morning’s storm. That is according to EMA Spokesperson Derek Woolbright. Woolbright said there are downed trees in the Brooks Bend area. Jackson County EMA has established a hotline for residents and business owners to report flood damage. Anyone who has taken flood damage is asked to call (931) 268-6177. Jackson County EMS Evacuates Due To Flooding

Jackson County EMS and 911 was forced to evacuate their facility due to flooding. Jackson County EMA spokesperson Derek Woolbright said crews started monitoring flooding near the facility, but water made its way in at about 2:00 AM Sunday. A new power outage in the Northern end of Dodson Branch has forced the community’s emergency shelter to be moved.
