Seeds of Hope in Sparta is raising money in hopes of securing a permanent location for its Coldest Nights Shelter. Someone can win a three-minute shopping spree at Sparta’s Save-A-Lot store. LA Marching Band Holding Recycling Fundraiser

The Livingston Academy Marching Band will be collecting recyclables Saturday to help with instrument repairs. Putnam Co. Rescue Squad Annual Fundraiser

Putnam County residents can expect mail from their local rescue squad asking for donations for this year’s fundraiser. The funds are used to purchase upgraded equipment and train volunteers.
