The 35th annual 127 Yard Sale will return to the Upper Cumberland Thursday. It covers 690 miles from Michigan to Alabama. Fentress Sheriff’s Deputies Recover Drugs, Cash During Festival Patrols

Fentress County Sheriff’s Deputies recovered drugs, drug paraphernalia, and cash over the weekend in patrols around the Sound Haven Music Festival. Sheriff’s Deputies retrieved over 51 grams of marijuana and 32 grams of mushrooms. Search For Fentress Fugitive Ends, Found Dead In Mexico

A Fentress County fugitive was found dead in Mexico months after escaping custody from the Fentress Jail. 35-year-old Charles Kennedy was on the TBI’s most wanted list and has remained at large since July.
