Power Restored To About 4,000 UCEMC Putnam Customers

In the past 12 hours, the Upper Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation has restored about 4,000 outages in Putnam County. According to Mayor Randy Porter, about 6,500 customers are still without electricity. The Cookeville Electric Department has less than 300 without power. UCEMC Customers Will Receive 1.6% Discount

UCEMC will give members a credit beginning next month to reduce monthly electric bills. The TVA Board approved the credit as part of a $200 million Pandemic Relief Credit plan. That reduces UCEMC’s wholesale power bill.
