The Clay County Commission is requesting the state to create a unique county seat on the Upper Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation Board of Directors. The resolution that passed Monday is in partnership with Pickett County. Clay Volunteer Fire, Rescue Squad Receive Extra Funding

Eight Clay County Volunteer Fire Departments and the Rescue Squad received an additional $4,000 in funding during Monday night’s county commission meeting.
