500 free trees will be available Saturday for Putnam County residents to replant what was lost in the March Tornado. Free Counseling Effort to Support Tornado Survivors

The Onsite Foundation is offering three different ways to provide counseling to survivors of the March Tornado. There is virtual therapy, online intensive therapy for those who lost a loved one and scholarships to pay for in-person therapy to anyone who can no longer afford to pay for a therapist. The Tennessee Comptroller’s Office reports an 87 percent increase in the financial exploitation of the elderly over the last four years. Two new faith-based groups will provide long term relief for victims of the March tornadoes.
