Multiple Clay County Commissioners said they would not support funding to help Celina purchase the Cumberland River Hospital. Clay Co. Commissioners Review Departmental Budgets With Slight Raises

Clay County Commissioners got their first look of the county’s new fiscal year budget Monday. During the budget meeting, Finance Clerk Donna Hamilton reviewed the numbers of the general fund as well as the solid waste department and jail maintenance. Clay County Passes Budget

The Clay County Commission unanimously passed its budget with no tax increases Monday night. The budget includes $5.1 million dollars in general expenditures and $11.5 million in the school’s general fund.
