Gentry Elected As Clay Co Commissioner In District Two

Clay County Commissioner Jeff Gentry will retain his District Two seat. Gentry received 209 votes. Candidate Denzil Cherry received 94 votes. Gentry vacated the seat after leaving to run for county sheriff earlier this year. He was later appointed back to the vacant commissioner seat in October.
